Athena was bought for a 12-year-old girl.  By the time 16 years happened for the girl, she was heavily involved in school.  The reality of having a big, noisy companion parrot became a concern then an issue for the entire family.  Athena reached sexual maturity to find she was a male showing signs of having a mate bond with his “owner”.  Atticus needs someone who knows about large birds, understands that he is not a status symbol, and needs lots of training.  If you would like to meet Atticus, please fill out our adoption application.

Cloe came to us from her veterinarian. She is such a sweet bird. She does have FDB which is common for female CAGs (Congo African Greys). She is a good eater, bright, interested, fun, and has a playful side. She will make a fine companion.

We met Lizzo outside, sitting on top of a cage, out in the country. He was very vocal, excited over having company and was very willing to start a new adventure. He has been such a pleasure to work with. He is interested in whatever you are doing, he wants to be included, loved, and …

Phantom came to us 5 years ago due to his Dad having to be taken to emergency. The hotel called us and asked us if we would come and pick up 20-year-old Phantom. We have held him as a hardship boarder for all these years hoping he and Dad could be reunited. Unfortunately, it isn't …

Papaya was bought at a bird fair for a child. As most children do, that child grew up and went away. Papaya is only 13 years old and looking to be in a home that will commit to her. She hasn't been worked with much for a while so she will want someone prepared to …
