A Brotherhood of Feathers. Welcome to Outback Oasis for the Blokes, a sanctuary for male cockatiels who find comfort in the company of their own kind rather than human hands. These shy, nervous souls have formed a unique brotherhood where trust isn’t forced—it’s built naturally, bird by bird, in a space where they feel truly safe.

In Outback Oasis for blokes, balance is everything. The flock thrives on harmony, where each member has a role to play in their social structure. From quiet observers to the more confident whistlers, every bird finds his place in this carefully maintained refuge. They enjoy daily foraging, friendly chatter, and the simple joys of flock life—perching together, preening in unison, and greeting each new day with soft morning whistles to demands for breakfast.

Though some may never seek a human’s touch, these cockatiels have found their version of home—a world where they can be themselves, free from fear, and surrounded by the comfort of their feathered brothers, or they may decide someone is the right fit for them…their choice.

Lola is a beautiful 12-year-old female Eclectus parrot. Sadly, Lola's life took a difficult turn when her "mom" became ill with cancer. This special community is a place of comfort, where nervous birds can simply be …

Charlotte, most commonly called "Char Char", a vibrant Lilac-Crowned Amazon, has been a cherished member of our rescue family since 2004. His journey began at a breeder/store where, like many parrots, he was unfortunately fed a seed-only diet. Thankfully, his life took a turn for the better when he found his forever home with Maria …
